Brown has written a book called in which he applies ancient Jewish eschatology to the solution of the controversy between Calvinism and Arminianism. Brown has also written some articles in which he refutes the Preterist eschatological system. In this discussion, Brown shows that while the second coming of Christ was imminent in the first century, it was (and still is) dependent on Jewish national repentance.
