Recently, a small sect of liberal scoffers arose to challenge the orthodox interpretation of the Genetic account. This group, which stands for “Covenant Creationism,” claims that the term “heavens and earth” really refers to something allegorical and covenantal. Since this group is so vocal, we thought we’d do a podcast to affirm the Biblical teaching of creation. In this informal 45-minute study, Brian Simmons views the Genetic creation from the standpoint of the Pleroma, and proves that the Genetic account describes a literal creation which will one day “pass away.” Perhaps few studies will be found more destructive of Hyper-Preterist doctrines!

Is Jewish national repentance inseparably connected with Jesus Christ’s second coming? To those who know their Scriptures, the answer is yes! However, Preterists and Hyper-Preterists, in their mania to generalize the teachings of eschatology, lose sight of this important doctrine. In this 35-minute Bible study lesson, Brian Simmons looks at several Old Testament passages which speak of Jewish national repentance as associated with the second coming of Jesus Christ — as either the effect or cause of His advent. This podcast will be found helpful to those studying Biblical eschatology.

Does Preterism preserve the correct concept of the rapture? Although most orthodox Preterists do maintain the reality of the doctrine, Hyper-Preterists go far astray in their interpretation of the rapture as a non-physical event. In this full-length Bible study podcast we examine the doctrine of the rapture, and show that it will occur in the middle of Daniel’s 70th week. We also cover Scriptures dealing with Antichrist, the Great Tribulation, and the “last trump.” Although audio is not the best quality, this is a must-listen for anyone who really wants to know the truth regarding the rapture!
